I have been getting more and more concerned about this week's game at Wyoming. I think Wyoming is underrated. They've played a tough schedule and played some pretty good teams pretty well. They hung in there a long time with Texas and even lead the game for a short while. They lost it in the second half, but that speaks more to depth than talent, in my opinion. I think Wy could give us some real trouble. If they get up a TD or two on us and Max panics, we could be in for loss...

Comcast and NBC

Wildcat Formation

After seeing a few teams using a Wildcat formation this weekend I sure wish we'd adopt that for an occasional change up. If not that, we at least need SOMETHING to mix things up. Bringing in Riley Nelson once in a while could be good. And I'm thinking our scheme is too careful with QB's anyway. Did anyone watch the Utes on Saturday against Wyoming? Either Utah is really overrated, or Wyoming is a whole lot better than I thought in the first place. If I had to decide, though, I'd say Utah is very average. Unless they play a whole lot better, I don't see how they'll give BYU much trouble on Nov. 28.

BYU moving up the Polls on their Bye Week

Well, last year if memory serves me BYU move up 2 or 3 spots during the bye week. This week I thought BYU had a very good chance to move back into the top 25, since they were setting at either 26 (AP & Harris) and 27 (Coaches) in the Polls. Plus with some the match-up there was good chances that top 25 teams would lose. The coaching staff sure could have used this weeks bye one week sooner. But with the way Bronco talked about how they underestimate the difference between where BYU is and where TCU is, it may not have made a difference in the win/loss record.

I think that Bronco needs to stop relying on self evaluation and find an independent evaluator to give him a better look at where they really stand in...

I'll bet Bronco has a bit of a problem with some players.

Far to many different personalities on a football team.

No matter the field of expertise, those who learn how to work around the different personalities are the successful people who are liked and admired in the world.

My oldest son, after a 5 year career in heating and air, was ask to go into sales, he wasn't sure, he was doing pretty well in the maintenance end, as are all my boys in the same field. But Sam's boss insisted and sent him to a school that taught him...

it would have to be the train-wreck that is happening with the Boise St and WAC fans. Last year the Boise St fans said that the reason why Utah was ahead in the final BC$ rankings was because Utah started ahead of Boise St in the polls. This year since Boise St was way ahead of all MWC schools there was know way a MWC school could over take them... that lasted all of the fist week of polls and BYU beat Oklahoma and flew right by Boise St in the polls.
