Did anyone watch the Utes on Saturday against Wyoming? Either Utah is really overrated, or Wyoming is a whole lot better than I thought in the first place.
If I had to decide, though, I'd say Utah is very average. Unless they play a whole lot better, I don't see how they'll give BYU much trouble on
Nov. 28.

That's my feeling, too. OTOH, did you see what Oregon did to USC? And the Utes gave Oregon a much better game, only losing by 7. And then there's the
fact that they had several unimpressive performances last year but always found a way to win.
I think we'll know a little more about how confident we should be after we see how we do against Wyoming this week. But unfortunately it doesn't seem to matter whether Utah is up or down, they have played well against us in recent years. I'm thinking it could be another low scoring nail-biter this year like the last one at LES. |

Yeah, you're right. Oregon left no doubt about the outcome of the USC game, and yet they struggled against Utah and Boise St. On the other hand, Oregon
is playing really well lately, and if they played Utah this week, I bet they'd win by 4 touchdowns. Utah hasn't been doing much of anything lately,
and I'm not at all impressed with them. But like you said, Utah always seems to play their best game against us every year. We'll see how it goes, but
I like our chances so far.

It's more of a match-up thing and Utah seems to always get up for the BYU game.
Utah has not been very impressive the whole season, have to come back from 14 down against Colorado St, just like Colorado St Utah trailed Air Force most of the game and won in over time.... So I was not all surprised to see Utah trailing at the half against Wyoming. The real question is did Cain loose his starting job to the true freshman Wynn? IMO, Cain has not looked the same since Matt Asiata went down or should I say Utah does not look the same on O now. Terrance Cain: Passing- 137-214-1,624 yards, 11 TD's, 5 Int's; Rushing- 82-285 yards, 2 TD's Jordan Wynn: Passing- 9-14-82 yards, 1 TD, 0 Int's; Rushing- 1-2 yards Max Hall: Passing- 170-247-2,231 yards, 17 TD's, 11 Int's; Rushing- 47-44 yards, 2 TD's It's not like Cain has played bad, IMO it just Utah has lost on of their play makers on O and it's not like a lot have showed up for Utah this year... Rushing Eddie Wide, III has managed the same type of numbers Matt was doing, but now they only have one option at RB (because Shakerin Sausan has not been healthy). They look like BYU did last year, except for less options that they are going to... I'm just worried about Wyoming this week. I am really feeling some misgivings about this game. I think we're walking into a real storm.
